Volunteer Opportunities

Get involved and learn new things as a volunteer!

Volunteers are essential to the success of Seattle Tilth.  If you are interested in being a regular volunteer with us, please download a VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM, fill it out and mail or fax it in to our office. A hearty THANK YOU to all our volunteers - past, present & future!

Seattle Tilth is currently seeking the following volunteers:

Toast, Taste & Twirl!  Volunteers
We need a few friends to help this important and festive fundraising event run smoothly. Contact: renee.rhone@gmail.com

Children's Garden Naturalists (ie Rock Star volunteers)
Get your hands in the dirt and volunteer to lead tours in the Children's Garden! Taste the sweet and nibbly, feel the soft and prickly - teach kids to learn with all their senses. No gardening or teaching experience necessary, just enthusiasm, a sense of humor and a desire to work with kids.

Garden Crew Volunteer
The Garden Crew is a great opportunity to work with Seattle Tilth in our demonstration gardens in Wallingford & Mt Baker neighborhoods.  As a crew member you will learn and practice organic gardening techniques.  We are currently taking applications for the Spring 2009 Garden Crew. Click here to find out more!

Outreach Volunteer
Promote the mission and programs of Seattle Tilth at events around the region including our new programs in Issaquah. In your training, we’ll cover FAQs, referrals to The Garden Hotline, and other key info.
Commitment: 3 weekend hours per month
Seeking 8 volunteers.  Contact carrieniskanen@seattletilth.org

Special Volunteer Projects and Opportunities
Do you have specialized skills and some extra time you'd like to donate?  Get involved with Seattle Tilth through focused volunteer projects.  Contact carrieniskanen@seattletilth.org.

Thank you to the wonderful Harvest Fair Crew!
